The idea for the 1st Greeting Sea Charts came to me on a long, nocturnal motorway trip to a wedding of sailing friends. Everyone talks about the "harbour of marriage", but where can you find a suitable nautical chart?
From this idea came the first nautical chart for the port of marriage, still a bit simple and in A4 format, from which the first simple cards for round birthdays developed, which were caught on by the members of my sailing club.
Years later I professionalized the look of the greeting sea charts (now in leisure boat chart format) and had the designs protected in Germany and Europe. At the end of 2015 I registered a side business and opened this internet shop.
Thanks to support from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, I was able to present my greeting cards at the "boot" in Düsseldorf between 2016 and 2018.
